Humberto Iglesias has over twenty years of legal experience in Corporate, Banking, and Real Estate Law.

 

Throughout his professional career he has advised multiple banking institutions, as well as national and international companies, on a wide range of legal operations, such as contracts, credit structures, real estate operations, purchase and sale of businesses, asset management, trust fund structuring, private interest foundations, and limited liability partnerships, among others. Likewise, he has advised important international organizations in the establishment of their operations in Panama, including addressing imigration issues.

 

Prior to Britton & Iglesias (BRIG), he was for ten years Partner in one the most renowned law firms in the country, contributing extensively to its development.

 

Humberto Iglesias is a member of the Panama Bar Association, and the Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. He is the author of several publications on Corporate and Financial Law.  He obtained a LL.B. degree from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología (Panama, 1997), and a LL.M. in Corporate Law from the University of Notre Dame (USA, 1998).
