Marcela is a foreign lawyer with experience in construction contracts. She has acted as a party representative in international arbitrations for the construction of mega works under Panamanian legislation, before the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of Panama (CECAP) and other institutions.

 

She is a lawyer from the Universidad Libre de Colombia, a specialist in Financial Legislation from the Universidad de los Andes and has extensive experience in litigation pursuant to Colombian legislation, national and international arbitrations, and Colombian and cross-border insolvency.

She has a Diploma in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration from American University Washington College of Law. She is speaker at the national and international conferences and academic institutions.
